ACT
If you plan on attending a four-year university after high school, you will need to take the ACT. This four part test (five part with optional writing portion) is given several times throughout the year at BSHS and other times at nearby districts. You can register online at www.act.org. The PreACT is a practice ACT test given to students Freshman year.

Accuplacer
If you plan on attending a junior college, like KCKCC or JCCC, you will need to take the Accuplacer test. It is also required for students wanting to take dual-enrollment courses for college credit in high school. Registration information is sent through your USD 204 email.

PSAT/NMSQT
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a practice test for SAT that can also enter you into the National Merit Scholarship program which connects students to many different scholarship opportunities. It may also qualify you for the National Hispanic Recognition Program and/or National Scholarship Services.
