KCKCC ENROLLMENT

Prior to the start of the semester, students taking dual-enrollment courses through KCKCC for college credit must follow these steps to enroll.

  1. Apply for Admission at this website:   https://www.kckcc.edu/admissions/index.html

  2. Meet specific GPA, academic criteria which vary depending on the class you are enrolling in.  

  3. Take the Accuplacer test if required.  Information regarding taking the Accuplacer Placement test at KCKCC can be found at this website:   https://www.kckcc.edu/student-resources/student-success-center/placement-testing.htm

  4. Complete enrollment paperwork and submit it to Mr. McMahan (mcmahant@usd204.net) Find Course Codes here

  5. Log in to Blackboard to make sure you can access your coursework (using your Webadvisor log in information)

  6. Having problems logging in to Webadvisor or Blackboard? Call the KCKCC Help Desk at (913)-288-7479​

  7. Check your KCKCC student email

You can drop a course three weeks from the first day of class. Please submit the form to Mr. McMahan or Mrs. Snyder.

Fall withdrawal date (shows on transcript): December 1st & Spring withdrawal date (shows on transcript): May 1st

  • 3.0+ high school cumulative unweighted GPA after five or more semesters; OR

  • 16+ ACT Reading AND ACT English AND B or higher (not B-) in most recent high school English course; OR

  • 2.7+ high school cumulative unweighted GPA after 5 or more semesters AND B or higher (not B-) in most recent high school English course; OR

 

 

*All other courses: All non math/Physics/Chemistry courses go by the Composition placement and Math, Physics, and Chemistry go by the math requirements with Physics and Chemistry following the College Algebra guidelines.
